Since we don't have any family parties on Christmas Eve, we braved the blizzard with our little family and headed up to Snowbasin for their T'was the Night Before Christmas Celebration. We ate at Earl's lodge and listened to carolers as we anticipated the arrival of Santa Claus. We spotted him up the mountain as he rode his snowmobile down and lit the Christmas tree. The kids were excited to receive oranges and an apple of all things from Santa. After seeing Santa, we watched a torchlight parade of skiiers coming down the mountain and fireworks. It was a really fun event that may just become a tradition so mom doesn't have to cook! Afterwards, we stopped in at both grandparents real quick as they both still give out PJ's. Then we hurried home to straighten the house, hang our stockings and hop into bed so Santa would not miss our house.
