We woke up Monday morning to find that a leprechaun had left a footprint trail to a pot of gold (treats). Then the kids were off to school. 
Kate always waves goodbye to Alex at the open door until the bus picks him up. The kids had fun at school celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Alex's teacher drank green punch which made her feet turn green (I'll have to ask her about her trick). Alex and his friend Beau turned into leprechauns during the day. Alex got a special green magnifying glass to look for leprechauns. He told me if he caught one, he was going to put it in our empty bird cage and keep him for a pet. Great! Kirsten made a beautiful green necklace and completed a leprechaun face. We love green day! (except the green pancakes mom made for breakfast...our same pancake mix with a little green food coloring....the kids wouldn't touch them)
