We got Alex out of school early one day to go with the family to see the new baby elephant at the zoo. She is adorable. The kids watched her forever and laughed as she played just like any child. We were so fortunate to see many other babies, a giraffe and a snow leopard. The zoo was not crowded at all and we had one of the best times observing God's creatures and the circle of life.
