Vote For Romney

So, with today being such an important day in Iowa for the Presidental nomination, I am speaking out to vote for Mitt Romney. Why should you? This article titled A Second Look at Romney sums it up perfectly. The author wraps up her article by stating:

"It is difficult to find any significant weakness in Romney. He is refreshingly articulate, exceedingly well prepared and self-disciplined, clearly an excellent manager with both private and government experience, happily married with a large, supportive family, and well within the mainstream of conservatism on every major issue. His nomination would not divide the base. He is just the sort of candidate people complain that they never get."

My thoughts:
1. A successful businessman should be running the biggest business in the world, The United States of America. My dad has always commented that if we could only get a good businessman in there, things could go well.
2. He is a religious man.  He's a Mormon as am I. We are not weird people. We believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ hence our name, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are strong people working diligently and enduring to the end. We love our families and neighbors and want the best for them and our communities. I know that with the responsibilities we hold dear to us and strive for, Romney is more than accountable to run the White House.
3. A family man. Society is based on the family unit. Society is going downhill because families are falling apart. He is a good example and is going to fight against some of the evils breaking families down.

I know there are many more pressing issues and no candidate is perfect but Romney is the best candidate out there.

I may be preaching to the choir as many of my friends and family who read our blog have the same beliefs as me, but my hope for today and the upcoming weeks is that people don't overlook what an incredible candidate Mitt Romney is.
